Hi everyone, my name is Benoit Spacher, I welcome you in this gallery. My regular nickname is "iceman57", living in Paris in France for 5 years. Some of you maybe saw this name popularised on "Fist of The North Star" worldwide board as beeing an active member on various projects.
Born in 1978, the year of "UFO Robot Grendizer" landing in France, I'm now back to school in "ESSEC" after a decade in automotive industry. I'm writing down a thesis on anime cel in order to get a Master's degree. My main goal on this gallery is to overpass a classic content and to not reject my own history. I consequently try to mix learned business aspect with technical skills. Show the current R&D studies for my university thesis offers to get worldwide collectors feedbacks (warmly welcome).
Worked in 2008 as a consultant mission for a french anime cels E-shop, I'm studying the anime cel niche business, design, marketing, events and expectations.
I choose for this gallery Toshiro's name ("Alfred" in my country) as being a huge fan of "Captain Harlock" anime series and japanese actor Toshiro Mifune. Unfortunaly this series hadn't be heared in native english countries. Whatever, I think that this character will better fit an anime gallery.
In fact what could be Harlock without Arcadia, and Arcadia without Toshiro.Without Toshiro's science, no space pirate neither anime cels attesting of his courage. Enter in the Anime Cels Laboratory and discover how a thesis can offer possible knowledges to anime fans... Sample size or scientific aspect can be criticised due to the affected budget, but remember that this is a schoolar work based on personal funds and that I need to start from the scratch to validate step by step the answers to the jury coming questions.
Sorry for inconvenience of the possible "commercial" aspect of this gallery, please be gentle to focus on study and not of the fact of beeing working for an E-shop.
